Teachers do a lot more than teach.

They show up early, stay late, and somehow still have the patience and energy to give every student what they need. They’re on their feet all day, constantly moving, helping, demonstrating, and supporting.

At Reform Physical Therapy, we see how much teachers give physically and mentally.

We treat the back pain from long days standing in the classroom.
The neck and shoulder tension from hours of grading and computer work.
The wear and tear that comes from always being “on.”

To the teachers who pour into their students every single day, thank you. What you do matters more than you probably hear.

If your body is feeling it, we’ve got you.

Happy National Teachers Day from all of us at Reform 💙🧡

Hiking season is almost here, and it is one of the best times to get outside and move. But after a long winter, your body might not be ready for uneven trails, hills, and longer distances just yet.

In this blog, we break down:
-How hiking impacts your body
-What to watch for early in the season
-Simple ways to build strength, balance, and endurance before you hit the trails

If you want to feel strong, steady, and confident this hiking season, this is a must read.

It's ✨Foodie Friday ✨here at Reform PT!

Most days, simple wins. If a meal is easy, filling, and actually tastes good, it’s a keeper.

This has been on repeat lately:

Grilled Chicken Avocado Bowl

What you need
• Grilled chicken (or rotisserie if you’re in a rush)
• Rice or quinoa
• Spinach or mixed greens
• Avocado
• Cherry tomatoes
• Cucumber
• Olive oil + lemon juice
• Salt and pepper

Here's how to make it:
Throw your greens in a bowl, add your rice or quinoa, slice up the chicken, and pile on the veggies. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, add a little salt and pepper, and you’re done.

That’s it. No overthinking it.

It’s one of those meals that keeps you full, gives you energy, and just feels good after you eat it. Perfect for a busy day or after a workout when you don’t feel like cooking a whole production.

If you’re trying to eat a little better, start simple like this. You don’t need perfect; you just need consistent.

What’s a meal you keep going back to again and again? 👇

So today, take a break. Step outside. Call someone who makes you laugh. Let yourself feel a little lighter.

Know the signs. Your body is always talking. We’re here to help you.

Today we’re highlighting something we treat all the time at Reform Physical Therapy… ✨vertigo and dizziness. ✨

It’s more than just feeling “off.” It can impact your balance, confidence, and daily life.

Here are some common signs to watch for:
• Feeling like the room is spinning
• Dizziness when rolling in bed or looking up
• Trouble with balance or feeling unsteady
• Nausea or motion sensitivity
• Difficulty focusing your vision

A lot of people try to push through this or wait it out, but you don’t have to.
Our team works one on one with you to figure out what’s causing it and guide you through the right treatment so you can feel steady again.

If this sounds familiar, it might be time to get checked out. Give us a call.

You do not need to flip a switch and suddenly become your “summer self.” That is where most people go wrong. They try to go from doing very little all winter to doing everything all at once.

Instead, start small. Ten minutes. A short walk. A quick stretch before bed. The goal right now is not perfection, it is consistency. When you build that habit first, everything else becomes easier.

If you are not sure where to start, we can help guide you with a plan that actually fits your life.

Your back isn’t “just tight.” It’s compensating. For a weak core, for stiff hips, and for movement patterns you’ve been repeating for years. And until you fix that, the pain keeps coming back. We’re breaking this down step by step in our Low Back Workshop so you can finally understand what your body actually needs.
