We are welcoming August with open arms and eager minds!

Today is the first official day of World Breastfeeding Week!! The theme this year is: Step Up for Breastfeeding: Educate and Support!

Many people face challenges on their breastfeeding journey! Whether they struggle mentally, physically, or emotionally; it is definitely a time in their life that they need the most support. It's time to step up and support those around you, ya never know how much it will make their day. That's one of the reasons I do what I do, I want to help educate people. Plus, I'm always a positive support person for whatever you may need; you can count on me!

Together, let's step up and support those! It may be 3 hours, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years. YOU did it!!!! You did AMAZING!

Hey hey!!! It has been a wild ride this week, so please forgive me as this little munchkin has taken up much of my week!!

Hi there friends! It's been a while since I have posted; it's been super busy and I do apologize!

I wanted to reach out and give y'all an update and a giveaway! My name is Joy and I am six months postpartum to the best little girl ever! We are 161 days into our amazing breastfeeding journey, which has inspired me to help others on their journey!! I recently received my Certified Breastfeeding Counselor title and am officially becoming an Advanced Lactation Consultant!! One step away from becoming an IBCLC! I am taking on any and all people that have questions about the Lactation realm! I set forth on this journey because of the lack of lactation education that is provided in the area I live in! I want to be a big change to helping get the babies fed! This includes information on bottles, pumps, and breastfeeding. Side note: I DO NOT DISCRIMINATE, I can also help you formula feed your baby! I am more than happy helping find the formula you need, bottles, anything! Feel free to ask away; it's important to make sure the babes are fed! Hey Hey everyone! I just wanted to pop on and thank you all so much for the following. It means the absolute world to me, in these last few weeks I've been able to help so many families. It brings me great joy to meet new people as well as help my friends! The goal of why I did this was to properly educate individuals on feeding a baby. In no way shape or form do I feel that one is better then the other. I believe that a fed baby is a happy baby!

If you have any questions, on breastfeeding, bottlefeeding, pumping, storing milk. Anything, feel free to reach out to me; I'm a listening ear! It's important to support those individuals in your life that are caring for small humans, we all could definitely use some reassurance!

Hi friends, and Welcome!!

My name is Joy and I am a first time momma to a beautiful baby girl! I live in NENC with my amazing husband and our three dogs! I am a CCMA at an amazing pediatric office! The providers there specialize in family medicine and pediatrics; with also focusing on individuals on the spectrum. I have been in medicine for 6 years and I love it. I had my daughter in January and I never had the assistance with breastfeeding as I wish I had. Through my maternity leave; I struggled with my mental health and nursing my daughter, I started to think; I want to change that! So i looked up how to be a lactation consultsnt, and the first steps are to be a CBC. From here I can go and grow my business further to reach people in need of assistance on their postpartum journey. I am so thankful for each and everyone of you! Thank you for believing in me, and trusting me with all of your concerns!!! Let's do this journey together, it'll be a joy.
