Welcome to Literacy Labs! This will be a place to find updates, dates for classes, and get the chance to see what we’re doing.

If you haven’t heard of this class, this is a literacy and STEM class held by Ms. Kym at Zaribel’s in downtown Elizabeth City. Each class begins with a story and moves into a corresponding STEM activity. This is a class designed to promote social and emotional skills, problem solving skills, critical thinking, and much more! We get hands on and are challenged to “think outside the box”.

Class takes place on Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30PM and is designed for children aged 5-10. Each class is different, which gives the flexibility to sign up for as little or as many classes as you’d like!
