We’re proud to partner with Elizabeth City‑Pasquotank Public Schools ECPPS to expand access to care. 💙

Yesterday, ECPPS and Sentara Albemarle Medical Center celebrated the opening of a new Telehealth Clinic at Pasquotank County High School, giving students and staff on‑campus access to licensed medical providers through virtual visits.

This is Sentara’s first school-based telehealth program in North Carolina and the first Truist - Sentara telehealth partnership across both Virginia and North Carolina.

Together, we’re removing barriers to care and supporting health, wellness, and success—right where learning happens.

Nearly 26,000 babies have been born at Sentara Albemarle since Cheryl Simpson started working here in March 1985 on the labor and delivery unit. 😍❤️🥳

And Cheryl herself was born at the original SAMC! She showed us her birth date in the handwritten log then flipped a few pages and pointed to when her husband was born 😍

Happy retirement Cheryl after 41 incredible years!! It is an honor to celebrate you and recognize all you have done and the connections you’ve made.
