🚨 I used to think being exhausted all the time was just part of being a grown up.
I remember both of these pictures well. Top one, I just got home from a long day at work, and it was a gorgeous day, the pup wanted some loves and just wanted to play... and all I wanted was a nap - I didn't realize how tired I actually looked in this picture.
The bottom pictue, yes... I'm smiling on the outside. We were on an excusion from the cruise my husband and I were on celebrating our anniversary. What you DON'T see is EVERY DAY on that 10 day cruise I took a nap and slept 3-5 hours every afternoon and we went to bed fairly early for being on a ship with night life (don't think we ever made it past 9pm). I was physically and mentally exhausted!! I just didn't care, I felt bad that I wasn't enjoying the trip, and forced myself to leave the cabin on most days. When I got back, saw several doctors with no clear answers other than menopause symptoms.
I wasn't crazy. I wasn't lazy. I was *BURNT OUT* and no one told me my nervous system might need support.
I didn't tell anyone at first, but I started doing one small thing each day for ME.
A simple morning ritual.
A little cup of plant magic.
It's wild how much your mood,energy, and sleep can shift when your body finally gets what it needs. I've been taking this little cup of magic juice for the last 2 weeks and I can say... for ONCE in the last (I don't know how many years) I've been SLEEPING!!! I am calmer and have more energy without hitting that wall during the day... You know the one I'm talking about.
