Connection To OneSelf-

Massage shows me almost daily that people can be really disconnected from their bodies. Today the signs that reminded me were…

Regarding Level of Disrobing-
Me: You can dress down to your comfort level. If you have undergarments on I’ll do compressions on that area. If you choose to be n**e which is completely ok you’ll be modestly draped.
Guest-What do most people do?
My thoughts: Why does it matter what others do? This is about YOUR preferences.
Regarding Pressure Preference-
Guest- I prefer light to medium pressure but you can go harder if you want.
My thoughts-I want to ensure that the guest is comfortable and in control on the pressure since they know their body more than I, why are they so willing to put this decision in my hands.

I do what I can to remind others that they are mind, body, spirit and I always hope that people do what they can to connect to themselves. To advocate for what they need! And to know their bodies more than the hands they choose to put them in.
