Respiratory therapist Stuart Shaw, RRT, RCP, has been a valued member of the Hugh Chatham family for the past two years. Stuart is devoted to caring for his patients and supporting students who have that same interest and passion. This year, he was honored as Wilkes Community College Respiratory Therapy’s Preceptor of the Year. This recognition highlights his impact on both our community and the next generation of therapists.

At Hugh Chatham Health, we offer a comprehensive range of cancer services, including radiation oncology at our hospital and a freestanding medical oncology clinic located on campus. Through our partnership with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, patients also have access to advanced treatments and clinical trials. Last year alone, we provided more than 8,000 treatments, reflecting both the scope and impact of our services.

Receiving care close to home makes a significant difference during a very challenging time. At Hugh Chatham, patients can access care without leaving their community, ensuring they remain close to those who play a vital role in support and healing.
