Smiles, laughter, and music filled the room during a recent music therapy session at our Elma location 🎶

After some hard thought, Mike Welka decided to move from Bailey IRA to Waterford IRA.

Mike lived in his former apartment for nearly 10 years! He loved his independence at Bailey along with all of his friends and staff.

When offered the new apartment, Mike was worried about change.

But since his move, he’s been adjusting better than he expected and told Team Leader, Jackie Freidenberg, “You know what, Jackie? I am SO happy here.”

Mike has experienced little to no changes other than more friends! His social skills are growing even bigger than his smile.

He asked that we take a group shot of everyone at Waterford to show how happy he and his cat Peach are in his new home!

💙 After many years at Heiler, our friend Theodore Clark is starting a new chapter at Killarney.

Staff and housemates came together to throw him a moving-out party filled with laughter, good food, and lots of love.

Theodore will be missed at Heiler, but we know he’ll bring the same kindness and joy to his new home. Best wishes, Theodore!
