FACIAL SCRUB: I’m deliriously happy about my new formulation for a facial scrub that is deep cleaning and yet gentle enough for the face. Combining Minooka, honey with baking soda and Himalayan salt, then adding olive oil, oil, rose oil and frankincense oil. And if you want reassurance on the shelf life, you can add a little bit of raw lemon juice, but both honey and olive oil often helps lotions and potions.

Our Story

After a work-related injury sidelined me for more than a couple years, I knew I had to learn healing from the inside out. I had studied aromatherapy & essential oils for a while, but now needed to be more diligent with my study of essential oils. I discover that some oils are actually dangerous if you don’t use them correctly! Delicate parts of the body can burn if you apply essential oils directly to the skin, without diluting them first in a gentle “carrier oil” like Jojoba, Almond, Grapeseed, Apricot, or such.

When I was a young girl, one of my brothers had a girlfriend who left Rose Oil in our car. I was entranced by the fragrance. In college, I was a fragrance model, only to learn that most commercial perfumes have toxic ingredients. Since I adore fragrance, I began studying how to make my own perfumes. A friend introduced me to YLEO (Young Living Essential Oils). I was immediately impressed by their purity.

Since then, I have tried many other brands. Some are very good. But when I want essential oils for health purposes, I always seem to return to these amazing, theraputic-grade oils. I never use cosmetic-grade oils at all anymore. Sharing these oils with others is such a joy, and a right livelihood. I am a proud YLEO distributor. There is always more to learn but it is a delicious journey into Mother Nature & her botanical oils from these amazing fields, orchards, gardens, and forest!
