If you’re on this page it means that you’re probably looking to find ways to feel more calm, relaxed & centered in your life in the same way I was when I began my journey. My passion for wellness and path to Yoga & Mindfulness really started at age five when I first started coping with anxiety by pulling out my eyelashes. By the time i was 14 I was prescribed zoloft for anxiety attacks which also
triggered a belief that something was deeply wrong with me and that I should keep it a secret. At age 19 I started experiencing social anxiety and after an anxiety attack I felt like I wasn’t going to survive - I began taking clonazepam, a powerful benzodiazepine. As my anxiety worsened I tried harder to hide it and began living smaller until a day at age 23 when I realized that my anxiety had gotten so bad that I could barely leave the house without my pills! That moment of awareness where I truly understood just how bad things had become turned Into the wake-up call I needed to begin the process of healing. I began taking therapy at my school, reading self help books on panic and anxiety, and slowly started to work with my anxiety instead of hiding from it. I began a Masters Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and over time as I looked for more holistic ways to heal, I began to uncover the Yoga, Meditation and Centering practices that are still the cornerstone of my daily wellness practice today. Now many years later as a Certified Gentle Yoga Instructor and Health & Wellbeing Coach, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share some of these powerful healing practices with others and see the profound impact they have on their lives as well.
