Though over a billion individuals in India believe wearing certain astrological gemstones can help them in life and lessen the bite of negative karma. For many this belief can be helped by explanation from a Mahatma.Having come through the dark ages of Kali Yuga very few understand the quantum reality of how to electromagnetically evade past negative karma. Here are the 13 resolutions from Amma's Navaratri message:

1. Firmly establish the truth in your mind that you are not this perishable body. When the conviction “I am the Supreme Self expressed in this body” becomes deeply rooted, we will be able to transcend all limitations.

2. The second resolution is to establish the truth that no one is separate from you. Think that we are all one. Even if we are unable to love everyone, we must try at least not to hate or be angry with anyone. We must resolve to accept them at their own level.

3. The third resolution is that you will remain calm and not become agitate when life doesn’t go as you expect. Develop the attitude of accepting everything that comes to you. Enjoy the uncertainty of life.

4. The fourth resolution is to have a goal in life. Keep that goal in mind, focus your attention on the present moment.

5. The fifth resolution is to always think positively. Recognize that it is the internal world we create that becomes our external world.

6. The sixth resolution is to be careful with your words when you interact with others. Listen to what comes out of your mouth when you speak.

7. The seventh resolution is to reiterate positive resolves in your mind. Try to do actions with prayerful attitude.

8. The eighth resolution is to set aside a sizable portion of time for meditation and mindful silence. These will help develop inner strength.

9. The nineth resolution is to try and forgive the mistakes of others. Along with this forgive your own mistakes and try to correct them.

10. The tenth resolution is to observe your own mind and introspect. Just as we brush our teeth daily, we must also try to keep our mind clean.

11. The eleventh resolution is to pay attention to your physical wellbeing. Exercise in moderation, and eat moderately at regular times. Make a firm decision to practice this.

12. The twelfth resolutions is to abandon self-criticism and love yourself.

13. The thirteenth resolution is to see others as manifestation of God whenever possible and love them accordingly, and to thereby develop the basic qualities of humanity and patience.

Chapter 5 – Stanza 28

The whole astral body of man consists of various densities of light, even as a physical body is built up of the different tissues of the skin, flesh, bones, and internal organs. The specific astral life force present in the physical body is spoken of as prana. This life force is fivefold because it performs five bodily functions of crystallizing or solidifying new flesh, eliminating impurities, circulating the blood, assimilating food, and creating by metabolism different tissues from the one blood source.
Through his spherical eye the Kriya Yogi sees his astral body as made of lifetrons—the pranic astral cells. He perceives that the Cosmic Sunlight of Life reflects Its rays through the astral spiritual eye into the astral brain and astral plexuses and astral nerve tubes to sustain the astral body cells. He sees also that his physical body is nothing but a coarser light of electrons, protons, and atoms emanating from his finer astral body. By further advancement the yogi perceives both his physical and astral bodies to be emanating from his causal or ideational body which is composed of the coordinated thought-trons of God.
This knowledge is necessary to understand that the body and life force and mind which form the encasement of the soul are in reality nothing more than differently vibrating thoughts of God. By the practice of Kriya, the yogi scientifically detaches his mind from gross sensory perceptions and realizes that consciousness and life force (prana or cosmic light) are the basis of all matter. The Kriya Yogi adopts a scientific method to divert his mind and reason from the perception of physical flesh; he perceives the body as light and consciousness by rising above the gross perception of breath.

Without electricity our bodies are dead and all electricity and energy has a frequency vibration. Our electrical body leaves at physical death and becomes our astral body. So, though we discard our physical body our electrical-consciousness body stays with us. At conception our electrical/astral body leaves the astral world and enters into the physical fertilized egg.

Paramahansa Yogananda said all our past good and bad thoughts, deeds and actions are recorded vibratorily in our chakras awaiting resonant stimulation by planetary radiations (astrological resonance) that act like a catalyst to manifest as a karmic return at a later date or life. These catalytic events are predestined because the planetary cycles are mathematically predictable. All planets have gravity and consequent magnetospheres as they orbit in the vacuum based solar system.

Their powerful magnetospheres constantly send out changing planetary radiations which are diluted or strengthened in different ways by their interaction with other planetary and house locations, These massive planetary radiations find almost zero weakening resistance while travelling through the vacuum of space. They permeate our electrical body and depending on the karmic waveform recordings of past actions in our chakras will or will not resonate and electromagnetically manifest a cosmically predetermined karmic return of perfect symmetry. All human ills arise from some transgression of universal law. The scriptures point out that man must satisfy the laws of nature, while not discrediting the divine omnipotence. He should say: 'Lord, I trust in Thee, and know Thou canst help me, but I too will do my best to undo any wrong I have done.' By a number of means - by prayer, by will power, by yoga meditation, by consultation with saints, by use of astrological bangles - the adverse effects of past wrongs can be minimized or nullified.

Just as a house can be fitted with a copper rod to absorb the shock of lightning, so the bodily temple can be benefited by various protective measures. Ages ago our yogis discovered that pure metals emit an astral light which is powerfully counteractive to negative pulls of the planets. Subtle electrical and magnetic radiations are constantly circulating in the universe; when a man's body is being aided, he does not know it; when it is being disintegrated, he is still in ignorance. Can he do anything about it?

This problem received attention from our rishis; they found helpful not only a combination of metals, but also of plants and - most effective of all - faultless jewels of not less than two carats. The preventive uses of astrology have seldom been seriously studied outside of India. One little-known fact is that the proper jewels, metals, or plant preparations are valueless unless the required weight is secured, and unless these remedial agents are worn next to the skin.'

Yogananda also wore the nine gem astrological bangle like Swami Sri Yukteswar’s and explained that “Worn next to the skin” means touching the skin. . Another little known fact is that the gems should be well seated into the skin with as wide a gem surface contact as possible. The astrological gems and metals should also be as conveniently close to the chakras as possible for maximum influence. So I am about to write something that will sound quite strange to some. In this age our schools are so deficient that they do not teach how the karmic mechanism of return karma occurs.If folks understood that for the most part Karma can be unavoidable unless certian measures are taken . They would apply all means necessary to avoid certain negative pre-destined events. But though most in the world agree that one reaps s what one sows. They do not look at the equation scientifically and endeavor to avoid the negative aspects of karma. On Sunday the 30th of July I will be giving a presentation to try to inculcate this paradigm into those that attend . Over the last four decades I have had a lot of fun trying to explain a science that is for the most part greatly misunderstood and supported by books that in my view are wildly far from the mark on how gems or minerals can greatly help us. to help overcome this obstacle I have written this FAQ for www.astrogems.com
