Headaches don’t always start in the head.

🔹 When a tendon is overstretched, the goal isn’t flexibility — it’s recovery.

This week I treated a patient with chronic heel tendon pain 👣
I started by releasing the fascia and mobilizing the tendon, then worked on the calf muscles to reduce overload.
Finished with TENS and red light therapy to help with pain and recovery.
And no stretching for now! The tendon is already overstretched — the goal at this stage is to restore strength and balance 💪✨

💡 What is a Herniated Disc?

A herniated disc (also called a slipped or bulging disc) happens when the soft, gel-like center of an intervertebral disc pushes through a tear in the outer layer.
This can put pressure on nearby nerves, causing pain, numbness, or weakness — often in the neck, back, arms, or legs, depending on where the herniation occurs.

Common symptoms include:
• Sharp or radiating pain
• Tingling or numbness
• Muscle weakness
• Limited mobility or stiffness

Massage therapy plays a key role in recovery — focusing on:
✅ Restoring mobility and spinal alignment
✅ Reducing pain and inflammation
✅ Strengthening core and postural muscles
✅ Teaching proper movement and body mechanics

Early evaluation and individualized treatment can prevent symptoms from becoming chronic and help restore full function safely.
