This is quite possibly my favorite little flower- Chamomile- its benefits on the spirit, sleep, and blood sugar regulation make it a wonderful herb to brew a tea with. It’s a lovely addition to your bedtime routine to help calm the nervous system and reduce stress.

Super excited to share that we have a new member to the team!
Dr. Aubrey Lewis, D.Ac, L.Ac is a licensed acupuncturist devoted to helping others feel empowered through their own healing process. Aubrey has worked for over a decade in integrative wellness settings, collaborating with other providers to support whole-person care. Aubrey is a general practitioner with a special focus on treating autoimmune conditions, digestive health, and chronic pain. Her work centers on reducing inflammation, calming the mind, and restoring vitality for everyone she treats. Outside of the clinic, Aubrey enjoys reading, cooking, traveling the globe, and spending time outdoors with her husband and adorable dog, Wilson.
She is truly a wonderful addition to the team. I’ve had the opportunity to receive acupuncture from her and let me tell you, she is AMAZING!
She will be joining us Mondays and Wednesday’s.
📚You can book with her at the link in bio!

A little snippet of the week. From sprains to stress, here’s a peek into some of the cases I’ve managed in the clinic this week. Every patient has a unique story, and it’s a privilege to help them heal.

See the redness around the needle? we call this sha- a gentle, rosy blooming around an acupuncture point that shows the body is beginning to move and respond. It’s one of the many signs that circulation is increasing, stagnation is loosening, and the healing process is waking up from the inside out.

What looks like a simple patch of redness is actually your system saying, “Thank you. I needed that.”
This is the moment blood, Qi, and warmth return to areas that have been tense, tight, or holding onto stress for far too long.

These subtle shifts are why I love this medicine so deeply. Acupuncture doesn’t force the body; it invites it. It gently nudges your system back toward balance—where pain eases, energy flows, and you feel like yourself again.

Every time I see sha appear, I’m reminded of the body’s incredible capacity to heal when it’s given the right tools and the right support. ❤️✨🌿

As we gear up for the colder season ahead, remember that winter is a time to protect and restore your Kidney energy ❄️
Warm meals, extra rest, layered clothing, acupuncture, herbs, and moxa all support balance and hormone harmony throughout the colder months.

In TCM, the Kidneys are the root of your energy and the foundation of hormone health. They store your deepest reserves, fuel your vitality, and help maintain warmth through Kidney Yang. When your Kidney system is supported, your hormones stay steadier, your mood feels more grounded, and your daily energy becomes more resilient. Winter is the ideal season to nourish this system so you feel restored rather than depleted.
