It's not so hard as you might think to synchronize your cycle to the lunar pattern - it is perhaps the world's simplest method for managing the cycle. Why would you want to do that, you ask? Well -- once you're linked up to that clock in the sky, you don't need a journal, an app, or a calendar (not even this one!) to know where you are in your cycle. Weren't those ancient grandmothers so brilliant? Nobody knows HOW they figured this out. This system, from time before memory, was lost to us in two ways:
the advent of artificial light (to which we are over-exposed) and ...of course, the murder of thousands, maybe even into the millions, of midwives, herbalists and female healers. That turned out to be pretty effective at shutting us up. All this and more will be told!
