Celebrating Clinical Success : Elaine Miller
Mrs. Elaine Miller was a resident of Christian Care of Unicoi County who admitted to our Rehabilitation Center to participate in our inpatient program following a decline in function.
With the goal of returning home, Mrs. Miller quickly made consistent efforts to improve function with the help of therapy services provided by Physical and Occupational Therapy. Mrs. Miller focused on enhancing stability and strength with tasks directed at the improvement of muscle endurance, strength, and dynamic stability. With an unrivaled determination and helping hand of each therapist, Mrs. Miller's efforts yielded significant improvements in the ability to complete functional tasks with the culmination of all extremities, exhibited balance during dynamic activities in standing, walk with improved gait pattern and muscle endurance.
With the completion of Therapy, Mrs. Miller demonstrated excitement for the chance to return home. She states upon completion of therapy, that therapy was good and enjoyable. She accredited continued success to good compassionate staff. She continues to state that she feels stronger after the completion of therapy. She ended stating that she had a good therapy experience here at Christian Care Center of Unicoi County.
In the end, Mrs. Miller was elated to go home and get back to her daily activities. Thank you for choosing Christian Care Center of Unicoi County for your Rehabilitation. We are proud of the progress you made!
