We believe in working in the NOW and that scouring the past is not the most effective way to proceed.
An important goal of Integrative Wisdom work: Self-knowledge. Self-acceptance. Self-empowerment.
A key component of our work is designing a unique Wellness Practice for body, mind, spirit and soul to use daily proactively.
Part of the path is being able to recognize one’s strengths as well as one’s limitations. The Reiss Motivational Profile is very helpful to guide in uncovering our motivations for our actions.
It is important to take time to update our beliefs, attitudes, prejudices and make sure they fit with who we are now and where we are called to go.
Integrative Wisdom works to improve communication, dialogue, and conversation so that we are better able to not only express ourselves, but to better listen and understand others.
Integrative Wisdom, while advocating for modalities and tools to enhance body, mind, spirit and soul, also stress that using these does not necessarily lead to wisdom or self knowledge. Individuals are encouraged to understand which tools work best and when.
Nature is key to living our best life. Integrative Wisdom encourages a greater communion with the natural world.
The most important relationship we have is with the Divine, no matter how this is defined. We accept each other right where we are on this journey and do not judge others to be wrong if they do not believe as we do. The underlying message is that we are called into greater relationship with our Divine Self and to live from a place of Soul.
Hopefully this helps you decide if you want to be part of Integrative Wisdom’s Community.
Read the brief story below to learn briefly how Integrative Wisdom got its start:
“Leap of Faith” What does that mean to you? Have you ever taken one? Or have you ever been prompted by your inner wisdom to do so, but found it too scary to try? Back in 2005, I was given a huge mandate: move to Escondido and start a new life there. Create a retreat center and learning center for women. What? Whoa, now that is wild. But guess what? We did it. And we haven’t been sorry for one minute. In fact, we have had the best adventure of a lifetime. (We, being my best friend and husband, Bob. He’s a keeper.)
And now, here in 2018, I am happy to say I am now able to pursue this work full time. My current mission is to get the word out to women that The Center of Creative Transformation is here for you. Come and be inspired, empowered, encouraged, and enlightened. And, let the experience give you what you need to take your own “Leap of Faith”.
Contact me, Verna, to arrange your personal retreat day. Learn how your personality style impacts your day to day experience. Determine what motivates you to change or to move forward. Learn to integrate the plethora of integrative healing practices you find appealing into a cohesive blueprint for your best life. One yoga class or one essential oil use does not a guarantee a change of life. But it’s a start, I give you that. Designing your healing practice that takes into account your body, your mind, your spirit, and your soul is what Integrative Wisdom is all about. The more you know about YOU, the better that design will work.
Contact me with any questions you might have about me or Integrative Wisdom, but especially with your questions about how to design your own Integrative Wisdom Wellness Plan using Integrative Wisdom tools.
Take a minute to close your eyes, breathe, and ask if this seems right for you. Your intuition is a great guide. Call me or send a message. I was guided to be here for you.
