Day 2 of ADX and we’re kicking it off with a visit from one of the many producers we’re proud to team up with - Pete Rainville, owner of Four Girls Dairy, the 2025 Vermont Dairy Farm of the year.

We’ll be in the “Feed and Nutrition” building until 4:00 and we hope to see you there!

We love that our producers are always looking for a better, more efficient way to get work done.

We do not own a liquid manure spreader so each year we hire that done and empty our pit. This year we were able to hire an injector. I’m beyond excited about how well this worked (farm wife joys!)! Not only did it take half the time to empty the whole pit, but the smell was so much better. You could barely tell the difference. The best part was the reduced traffic through our yard and on the main road. The dragline means that the tractor gets to stay in the field once it is started and not make constant back and forth trips to refill. We live on a busy main road and traffic can be scary at times because of how fast they drive and people pass through this stretch. The dragline runs through a culvert underneath the road and keeps the tractor off the road. It was so much safer here for everyone involved! The reduced tractor traffic in the yard keeps my babies safer!
