✨ The 2026 Seasonal Collection Reveal ✨

For Storybounds first annual Seasonal Collection Product Drop, we dug deep into our dark fantasy/fairytale vibes. It seemed to be a reoccurring theme that 2025 was, collectively, a difficult year.

So, in a world where 2025 challenged us all in unexpected ways, the Dark Fae Defiance collection emerges as a powerful symbol of resilience and rebellion for 2026. This collection is more that just hoodies - it’s a statement.

Inspired by the fierce, untamed spirits of the Dark Fae, it invites us to rise above hardships and embrace the defiant power within each of us. 🌿✨ Exciting News from Storybound! ✨🌿

This year, we're embracing the magic of the seasons in a whole new way! We will be aligning unique product launches with the 4 seasonal peaks - The Spring Equinox, The Summer Solstice, The Autumn Equinox, and the Winter Solstice - celebrating the powerful cycles of nature and transformation.

Each seasonal peak, we will be launching a new, limited edition collection, all connecting to an overarching collective theme. Our 2026 Seasonal Collection Series will be an immersive journey through the year, with the official theme being revealed New Years Day. Though we can't tell you what the theme is just yet, we can say that each seasonal release will dive deep into the mysterious, rebellious spirit of the Dark Fae, capturing the essence of each season's unique darker energy.

What to expect?
- Three exclusive styles per seasonal launch, designed in house by Lindsey Saoirse to embody the magic and mood of that moment in the year.

What’s on your TBR this holiday season??

We are currently elbows deep in the ACOTAR series 😅 having just finished The Empyrean series by and now are impatiently waiting Onyx Storm.

Indeed, its been recorded that ghost stories have been told since around the Medieval period in England (and other places) - the most famous of course being A Christmas Carol. Though packaged in holiday garb, many of these tales have glum themes of the darkness that wisp into rebirth, as well as winter being that the Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year - was surrounded in dark, ghostly superstition.

Once upon a time, Christmas Eve was a day for telling ghost stories. Thankfully, publishers such as the British Library and Galley Beggar Press have done their best in recent years to revive this Victorian tradition through the release of beautiful collectable books!

Photographed above are just a handful of our favourite Christmas ghost stories, from the all-time classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, to the excellent Winter Spirits short story collection featuring tales from some of the best names in contemporary gothic fiction, to the new non-fiction book The Dead of Winter from Sarah Clegg which is a fun and easy-to-read look at the various folkloric monsters of Christmas from over the centuries.
