Always a good time when Beth Smith joins us. She will be leading & teaching us a bit about poker next Thursday. She leads poker at some nursing homes & assisted livings each week her volunteering brings something different to the table.

The weather forecast promises some winter warmth later this week, hopefully it is a perfect chance to get a few minutes of fresh air. It seems like this winter has been trying on many so hopefully the little break will lift spirits.

Join us on Thursday morning at Calvary the coffee will be hot the snacks will be plentiful and Ruby will lead us in some Tai Chi. She showed us a little sample of the movements and this week anyone that wants can do the motions. We are never to old to learn new things.

This weather is brutal it is a great time to give a caregiver or senior a call. Let them know that you are thinking about them it might be the only call they get all day.

Cold & Flu season seem to be kicking it in gear never to many reminders to wash your hands, catch your cough , wear a mask if you have issues & if you are sick stay home. No one wants to pass a germ around.

It’s our favorite time of the year join us for some Christmas bingo on Thursday at Calvary at 10:00 am. Who doesn’t like to win a prize & a wrapped surprise adds to the excitement. Always great joy in spending time with others.

It is really cold out and sounds like Sunday will be a cold one. Might be the perfect time to make a cup of coffee & call a caregiver or a senior living by themselves. Sometimes that call can really make some ones day. Be that spark.

Join us on Thursday December 4th at Calvary Methodist for a country Christmas with Steve Lang. Music will start at 10 am join us for great music & refreshments.

Happy Thanksgiving may your day be filled with joy and thanks. Remember some folks have are alone today, might be in a blue state or are doing all they can to take care of the one they love & themselves. Take time to make a call and check on someone, if you made a big meal with plenty left make a plate for someone home alone & always be thankful. The little things really are BIg deals.

We will start out December at Calvary with a couple of our favorite activities join us if you can. December 4th Steve Lang will be performing who doesn’t love some Christmas music country style. We always enjoy when Steve comes to entertain for us. On Thursday December 11th we will have Christmas bingo who doesn’t love the chance to win a prize.

We will not meet at Calvary Methodist next week hope everyone enjoys Thanksgiving what a wonderful time to stop and be thankful. We should be thankful each and every day but it seems like we always target Thanksgiving to be super thankful. We will see you at Calvary on Thursday December 4th.
