Happy Thanksgiving may your day be filled with joy and thanks. Remember some folks have are alone today, might be in a blue state or are doing all they can to take care of the one they love & themselves. Take time to make a call and check on someone, if you made a big meal with plenty left make a plate for someone home alone & always be thankful. The little things really are BIg deals.

We will start out December at Calvary with a couple of our favorite activities join us if you can. December 4th Steve Lang will be performing who doesn’t love some Christmas music country style. We always enjoy when Steve comes to entertain for us. On Thursday December 11th we will have Christmas bingo who doesn’t love the chance to win a prize.

We will not meet at Calvary Methodist next week hope everyone enjoys Thanksgiving what a wonderful time to stop and be thankful. We should be thankful each and every day but it seems like we always target Thanksgiving to be super thankful. We will see you at Calvary on Thursday December 4th.

What an honor to be chosen as one of the five winners for The Great Give-Back Giveaway. Thanks to those that took the time to nominate us and thanks to Farmers Bank for doing this wonderful give in our community.

Our team was honored to provide this donation and support an organization that provides much-needed relief to caregivers supporting loved ones facing illness or injury. Their work truly makes a meaningful impact in our community.

Always a great day to start it with breakfast with some of our Veteran friends. The story’s might change, the crowd might be rowdier than the year before, the pride around the table is big and one thing never changes these veteran’s are hero’s each & every day.

Pastor Chris will be playing music today at 2:00 at Aspire in Estherville great time to see the joy that music brings to others. Music certainly is the universal language.

We had the best time passing out candy and seeing all the joy at the indoor trick & treat at Calvary. Fun costumes, happy kids & the weather inside was perfect.

We will be at Calvary United Methodist Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 passing out candy at their trunk or treat. We are excited to see all the kiddo’s it will be a great time. Some days are meant for having fun.

The weather has changed most places I go today the furnace will be running on high. We know lots of people who love to be toasty warm ‘‘tis the season for them to crank it up.
