Waxing Gibbous Energy

The waxing gibbous moon reminds us that growth takes time, it’s the phase of refinement, patience, and preparation before full illumination. 🌿

Walk barefoot under tonight’s moon to reconnect with the Earth’s steady rhythm. this phase was seen as a time to nurture what’s thriving and release what distracts from your purpose. Farmers watched their crops closely, healers charged their herbs, and women set intentions for strength and fertility.

✨ Barefoot Ritual:
Step outside tonight…..no shoes, no rush. Feel the ground’s pulse beneath your feet. Breathe in moonlight and exhale anything heavy.

Your nervous system is the bridge between your mind and body. When stress builds up, it can keep you stuck in “fight or flight” mode, making it hard to feel calm or present. Gentle body-based practices …like grounding touch or shaking out tension, remind your system that you’re safe and help bring balance back into your day. Try adding one of these practices whenever you feel overstimulated or drained.

🌿 Venusian Herbs for Libra Season:
• Rose – the flower of Venus, cherished in love spells and healing tonics for the heart. Folklore says roses were once white until Venus’s tears and her lover’s blood turned them red. 🌹
• Violet – sacred to both Venus and Persephone. In Greek lore, violets grew where Persephone first set foot in the underworld, symbolizing tenderness through transitions.
• Damiana – long used as a spirit-lifting herb. In Mexican folklore, it was brewed as a tea for passion and joy, connecting earth and love.

💡 Seasonal Ritual: Brew rose and violet tea under the waxing moon. Sip slowly, set an intention for balance, and let the folklore remind you that plants carry stories older than us, whispering guidance if we listen.

✨ The cosmos above, the plants below…..always in conversation.

🍂✨ Barefoot Holistics Seasonal Remedy ✨🍂

As the veil between seasons thins and the air turns crisp, nature reminds us to slow down, sip warm brews, and care for our bodies. One of my favorite autumn allies is mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) a plant long associated with intuition, dreams, and transitions. Traditionally, mugwort tea or a gentle herbal sachet under the pillow has been used to invite vivid dreams, balance digestion after hearty meals, and ground us through seasonal shifts.

🌿 Pair it with a touch of cinnamon or ginger for warmth and circulation, perfect for those brisk nights.

Remember, herbs are powerful. Always honor their spirit, listen to your body, and consult with a practitioner if you’re unsure.

This season, lean into the earthy, the mystical, and the restorative, because true magic is found in simple, natural remedies. ✨

📖 What autumn rituals or herbal allies are part of your own seasonal transition? Share below……I’d love to hear them. 🌙

Heavy metals don’t belong in our bodies—but they’re sneaky.
From tap water and cookware to food, pollution, and everyday products, metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, and aluminum can quietly build up in both adults and children.

That buildup may contribute to things like:
• Fatigue & brain fog
• Mood swings
• Skin irritation
• Gut discomfort
• Behavioral or focus changes in kids

But detoxing doesn’t have to be extreme.
In fact, it shouldn’t be.

Why gentle detoxing matters:

Detoxing isn’t about extremes—it’s about gently encouraging the body’s own natural cleansing pathways, like the liver, lymph system, and skin.

With nourishing herbs, minerals, and calming rituals, gentle detox may help:
• Boost energy and focus
• Soothe inflammation
• Support emotional balance
• Encourage a sense of clarity and wellness

Why kids need even more care:

Children may be more sensitive to environmental exposures, and some parents notice shifts in mood, digestion, or learning over time.

That’s why I offer kid-friendly wellness support—like safe, soothing detox baths and nourishing food tips that are simple, natural, and supportive of the body’s natural processes.

This post is for educational purposes only and does not replace medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider when considering new wellness routines—especially for children.
