Breastfeeding, exercising, catching up on work, and listening to a book, all at da same time.

Unpopular opinion: You can have your cake and eat it too!

👩‍💼You can have full time career while being a full time mom.
🎹 You can show up for your family while having your own hobbies.
♥️ You can love your husband well while still loving yourself.
🌮 You can lose weight while eating the foods you crave.

You can start that business, take that risk, take that class, enjoy that hobby, do whatever the crap you want to do! Believe in yourself. Stop counting yourself out before you even try. Take a look in the mirror and tell that girl she’s a freaking gorgeous beast who CAN DO ANYTHING!

I don’t know if anyone’s told you this today, but in case they haven’t, you are capable and strong. Ignore the voices who tell you anything else. Even if that voice is your own.

I’ve wanted a spin bike for SO LONG! 🚴 I’ve searched on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace for an inexpensive bike without any luck, but reeeaalllly didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Mostly because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it/ use it. The budget I set for myself was $50 and I wanted something brand new. 😂

After being shot down over and over with my offer of $50 I decided to bump it up to $75… And I got one! It’s (basically) brand new and I LOVE IT! And as you can tell, it’s super awkward to try and get a selfie on a bike. 🙃

If you’re looking to invest in your health you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to do it. If you can afford it, buy ALL the things. But if you can’t, find something inexpensive (or don’t buy anything and just move your body) and do the dang thang!

My goal is to use this bike until it falls apart. Set those goals, but then GET AFTER IT, BABE! 🦖💋

I don’t know about you but it’s SO much harder for me to eat “healthy” in the winter or fall. The only thing I crave is pizza and cookies. Buuuuut when the sun comes out evvrraaathang changes! 🌞
I’ve been eating like garbage in the last season. (Maybe even since covid first hit in 2020 if I’m being honest 🥴) Now that’s summer is here I want to clean up my diet. 🌸
Sooooo... Yesterday I decided to do a water only fast. I woke up feeling SO good! Today I’m doing fruits, veggies and kombucha *swipe to see what I made 😋* And we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
Give it a try. You’ll be shocked how you feel after a 1 day fast. I usually don’t go much longer than that because I LUV food!
In no way will I ever “cut out” junk food and pizza. But I know I feel much better when my diet is “mostly” clean.

Tonight it took me SO long to get through my workout. Buuuttttt I did it!
I’ve been so much more consistent with my workouts lately and I’m so proud of myself for pushing myself to do the dang thing. I feel so good right now.

In the past I wouldn’t have been caught dead in public without makeup, but here I am sharing a very broken out face, makeup free and filter free picture of myself... Why?

Because, why freaking not? I think we spend more time being ashamed of ourselves and insecure in our own skin than we do just enjoying our lives.

Who cares if your face is broken out! Who cares if your eyebrows are uneven! Listen, I love makeup! It’s so fun and pretty and I’m ALL about it. But I think for my own personal growth, it’s important to remind myself that I need to first be confident in my own skin.

It IS possible to have goals you’re actively trying to reach while simultaneously being happy and confident in your own skin.

Drop the insecurities and shame and pick up some confidence sister!

Shame tethers us to our past. It keeps us immobile. Insecurity will hold you in the place you’re in. It will never motivate you to reach your goals in life.

How do I get my spouse to live a healthy lifestyle with me?

You can’t force someone to change. BUT you can encourage and inspire them to change.

People change when they see that it’s possible.

My husband Thomas was that for me. He lived a healthy lifestyle for YEARS before I hopped on board. And then when I tried to change too, he helped encourage and inspire me to do it. Never one time did he nag me about it or make me feel bad about myself. He simply reminded me at every stage of my journey that I could do it and inspired me to keep pushing until I got there.

Be the change you want your spouse to be and chances are they will follow.
