I show up every day in my office present and trusting -

Trusting the process
Trusting the process of healing
The goodness of the universe
And what I know and have seen is true…

Big healing happens. Lives changes. Lifelong patterns and hurts can resolve.

It’s so beautiful, it takes my breath away.

I know it’s true. I know it’s possible. But it feels like an amazing miracle every time.

I’m proud of what I’ve had to overcome and become to be this - a person who can do this.

A person who can be present with pain without jumping into it or pushing it away and who can help transmute it into joy, love, and happiness.

A person that people trust. And who I’ll proudly say is totally worthy of that trust.

What we consider “miracles” or “magic” really do happen. 💕

Counseling is different! We do more than “just talk,” but also — talking out loud with a good professional is different than just thinking things through in your head. Especially if you struggle to organize your thoughts or follow through from executive dysfunction from anxiety, depression, or adhd! In other words, counseling with the right person is just different in the best way possible! Counseling FTW 🙌🏼

Your normal biology is set up to protect you and help you survive.

So…

- It is non-stop scanning, looking, being alert to THREATS:

Anything it *thinks,* perceives, anticipates, or even imagines could potentially, possibly harm you.

- It can’t tell what’s *actually* threatening or potentially harmful to you and what’s not!

- So, it reacts to anything and everything it thinks could be harmful, EVEN IF IT’S NOT 🤯

Even if it’s just *imagining* it could be harmful and is making the whole thing up!

OMG, right?

- It does not assess whether something is truly a threat or not. It just reacts. With anxiety! 🤦🏼‍♀️

It makes you anxious ALL THE TIME because it looks for threats and reacts to them when they’re not really threats.

This is something everyone struggling with anxiety should know.
