We had to go to Winco to pick up spices for Burrito Brigade and it was too hot to cook so we grabbed a Italian hoagie. Doctored it up with EVOO and balsamic on one side, mayo on the other, added some of our tomatoes with s&p and oregano, and lettuce. The bread was like wonder bread. Next time I will toast the roll. Not a bad dinner for 2 for $5.48. BTW, if you would like to help: www.burritobrigade.org

OC Boardwalk done with the Point Diner thrown in. I got to hit all my childhood favorites... Pork roll, egg and cheese on a Kaiser bun, scrapple, sticky buns with walnuts, Rita's Italian water ice, Manco and Manco pizza, Johnson's popcorn, Kohr Bros.soft serve, and Shrivers Salt Water Taffy....

Our family reunion tradition. I had the lump bluefin crab cocktail and a dozen top neck clams on the half shell with a piece of sweet Jersey corn. Kathy had the rest. Just kidding.
