White Bird Dental is offering walk in clinics again! Every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:30 am at our 1415 Pearl Street location. Please bring ID and proof of income if possible. Your Trillium/Pacific Source OHP will cover the cost of walk-in Dental service.
Our dental clinic offers emergency, preventative, and restorative dental care to people who may be uninsured, underinsured, low income or homeless, and may otherwise go without care. Services provided include: filling, crowns, endodontics, extractions, periodonture, bridges, prophylaxis, application of fluoride and sealants and oral health education. We accept OHP/Trillium/Pacific Source and private dental insurance. Uninsured patients are charged on a sliding scale based on income. We partner with the Arizona School of Oral Medicine, Oregon Health and Science University, and Lane Community College to provide low-cost care. Hablamos Español.
Too many unhoused and low-income community members need dental care that they cannot access. White Bird Dental has responded by building a larger clinic that increases capacity by over seventy percent and accommodates twelve dental chairs. The new facility makes it easier for community members suffering from dental pain to get immediate, walk-in access to a dentist, and also allow White Bird to serve more elderly patients, children, and families.
White Bird has invested $2.5M to develop a state-of-the-art facility that provides acute and preventative oral health care to our community’s most vulnerable residents. The clinic’s design features the latest innovations in modern dentistry in a bright, airy space. The facility lets patients know that they are valued members of the community who deserve excellence in health.
If you do not have a mask, Don’t worry we have one for you 😊. OHP will cover the cost of the tele dentistry and of most all dental visits. Those without insurance will be charged on a sliding scale and encouraged to sign up for OHP at ONE.Oregon.gov or given an appointment with our benefit assisters. Please bring proof of income and photo identification.
White Bird Medical program has appointments available for patients who want to establish care or patients with a single acute need.
There are same day appointments and future date appointments available.
We have male and female identified providers.
We take Medicare, Medicaid, and offer a sliding fee scale based on income for those without insurance. We don’t turn anyone away for inability to pay for a visit.
The process is to call the Medical clinic at 541-484-4800 to speak with a triage nurse who will work with the patient to meet their care needs.
The medical clinic hours are M-F, 9-5:30.
We are unable to take walk in appointments at our current location 450 W 5th Ave.
Medical has appointments available for patients who want to establish care or patients with a single acute need.
“Evidence shows that effective support increases stability and reduces long-range costs, but providers are often funded by sources with restrictions”

Monday Vax Clinic at the WOW Hall has moved to
202 E 14th next to White Bird Dental
12 to 3pm
Black Thistle Street Aid IMPORTANT UPDATE!
Clinic will no longer be held weekly as it has been for over a year and a half.
Wednesday clinic at WJ is an important part of the work we do, and we don't want it to end! To honor our team's realistic capacities and prevent burnout, we have made the decision to switch to clinic every other week, the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (which sounds confusing, but we'll do our best to alert you when the week arrives!).
The Wednesdays that we are Not hosting clinic, we will be on outreach providing direct medical care to the many encampments around town, where the need is ever-growing as the City slowly/not so slowly disbands WJ and 13th & Chambers sites. Other outreach support will continue throughout the week as-needed as we have been doing. We will continue our main focus of medical, herbal and harm reduction support.
Cutting back clinic feels huge, and it was not an easy decision, but as a team, this will allow us to focus on building something sustainable rather than constantly putting out fires. We have hopes that we can go back to providing a weekly clinic once many foundational pieces are addressed that we have had to push aside out of necessity and urgency the past year or so.
Thank you for your understanding & continued support of the work we do!
♡
