2026 has been off to a busy start! It's been cold and rainy and full of confronting family policing and carceral systems that continue to perpetuate harm in our community, but we remain undeterred.
We've been providing care in the mud, in trunks of cars and on the sidewalks and finding joy in the little things like fun street art.

We are so excited to be rounding our 4th year of Word on The Street! This publication began with the simple goal of gathering and sharing info by and for people living outside to stay informed about events, public health issues, and tips when phones and internet access can be limited. We weren't sure how it'd work, but are thrilled it continues to be a helpful and informative resource for our community and grateful to all who have contributed and continue to do so.
