I’m an Army veteran. What you may not know is that I have PTSD, a personality disorder, and Bipolar 1 disorder even before I served. Another fact about me is that for the last few months I’ve been on a mental health leave of absence from work and today was my first day back. Today is also the day I’ve decided to give back to the mental health community by putting a hobby I have to good use. I’m making & selling Paracord survival bracelets. Handmade by me with military grade 550 Paracord. It’s a bracelet consisting of a single barrel knot (the Our Father Knot) extended 22 times to represent the 22 veterans a day who’ve taken their own lives since 2009. One size fits most and comes in black, gray, Army green, red white & blue and Infiltrate/mixed military camouflage. I’m charging 6 dollars....and 4 of those dollars will be donated to Storm 22 & NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
