Isn’t it odd that once upon a time in Europe a woman could be killed for making potions from the plants around her.

Isn’t it insane that once upon a time wise women were burnt or drowned for helping birth babies, knowing their herbs, gathering in groups of more than two, being outside alone, being strong, being beautiful, being ugly, being different, being s*xual, being non s*xual or touching a nettle, smelling a rose or drinking wild teas.

Isn’t it madness that a woman who knew her body, her mind and her heart was cast aside as evil, as a sinner and her life taken away.

Women, do not let the ancestral memory of this that is held in your make up, in your bones and blood hold you back. Rise dear sweet sisters, rise so that our daughters and daughters daughters don’t have to wonder when we lost our tongues and denied our hearts.

Grow a new tongue, invite the wolf in, awaken the witch and dance under the moon. Embrace your heart, your womb, your gut and your wisdom.

I’m just going to start this conversation myself. Because most of ya’ll just don’t know…though this article is a little cutesy, I do appreciate the decoder ring scenario.

Now… this conversation needs to start happening out in the open about Erotic Blueprints. Do you even know yours? Could you guess mine?

This information would be insanely helpful in the dating and relating world as well.

Sexuality and Eroticism often have such a shameful reputation in our culture which causes us to hide things for fear or largely keep these topics to ourselves. I feel like, why are we as friends and adults not having these discussions. It could just be common knowledge. We wouldn’t event really need to be so confused about gender identity ( which is another topic completely) Or even as parents. Imagine how empowered and embodied you would have felt at 14 knowing you were a Sexual Energetic and that SEGGS could take you places you never even imagined…or if you understood that you were a shapeshifter s*xually and kind of just get off on lots of s*xual stuff, people, kinks, etc.

IMO, s*xuality is vital and nutritious part of our being. Yes, I said nutritious. Fight me. 💋

Now, imagine this were a normalized part of our culture… just saying, that if you knew this stuff as you grew into your body, you might have saved yourselves a lot if trouble and a lot of heartbreak. And if you know about Bonobos, we’d probably just have a lot of happier hearts and bodies because more s*x (ONLY if it’s safe and consensual) means more regulated, healthy nervous systems!!

Anyways, I digress… but I’m curious about your thoughts…

Emotions are basically energy waves, you’re not meant to block them. You are meant to move them through you until they become something else. They are continual as life herself.
A sign of a healthy nervous system means you are capable of moving through many emotions daily. Feeling what arises in the moment. A healthy nervous system is attuned to the subtleties of all emotions and is able to allow them to come and go freely. This is how we reclaim our humanity and keep our divinity. 🖤kristina maia

Control is the way of the patriarchy. Trust requires surrender, acceptance, and the ability to receive. Trust is a feminine attribute and therefore Is opposed to dominant culture. We don’t know how to trust, because it’s not safe to surrender. Which is why it is hard for so many of us. How can you trust in a world where you are being controlled? How can you trust when you aren’t able to be sovereign?
So we build walls, we hide in our fortress and keep our revolution to ourselves. We stay small.
One thing that’s for certain in this world, is that we aren’t in control. And at the same time, we haven’t met unrivaled revolution. To try to be in control, is to create consistent resistance. In keeping our wisdom, we also keep this world from witnessing a true revolution of receptivity. As the feminine rises, the key is to find the meeting place between the two. To untether ourselves from the idea that we are ever in control, and that we can be controlled by reclaiming personal sovereignty…and yet, to trust enough that all that is meant for us is coming despite. Witch is a term as shifting and volatile as mercury. Over time it has been an accusation, a slur, a fear, a story, a fairytale, and a costume. But in the beginning, a witch was someone who was recognized as working with healing. A person who had a direct relationship to the medicine of those things we cannot immediately see.

The etymological roots of the word witch are mixed, murky and a bit mysterious. But some scholars argue that witch can be traced back to the Indo-European world weid – which means both “to see” and “to know.” Traditional healers knew that the way in which we perceive gives shape to our direct experience of reality. If we wish to change our reality, or the concreteness of loss or devastation that we’ve been handed, we must first begin with what we are open to seeing.

And Real Witches see possibility.

They understand that sometimes the most profound healing does not come from the physiology of a specific medicine, but from the life-changing alteration of our core vision and belief. Where there is pain, there could be relief. Where there is death, regeneration can be leased.

At the heart, to be a witch doesn’t mean that you manipulate reality to your liking. It means that you can see and call forth manifold possibilities. It means that your perception of reality goes beyond what has been handed to you. And that you can perceive the presence of freedom, and healing, in all things.
