Mark Twain said, "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." My "A-Ha!" moment came the day I realized how important proper nutrition and exercise is to my emotional, mental, and physical well-being. A life that worked. I realized living a clean body, a clear mind and an active lifestyle could contribute to my overall happiness. And I discovered that I needed to share my new outlook on life with a tribe of friends. As a Yoga Teacher, this is why I don’t vilify carbon dioxide when I teach yoga: CO2 plays various roles in the human body including regulation of blood pH, respiratory drive, and affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen (O2). Fluctuations in CO2 levels are highly regulated and can cause disturbances in the human body if normal levels are not maintained. In the human body, carbon dioxide is formed intracellularly as a byproduct of metabolism. CO2 is transported in the bloodstream to the lungs where it is ultimately removed from the body through exhalation.

I love this one!😊❤
A mother was concerned about her kindergarten son, Timmy, walking to school.
He didn’t want his mother to walk with him.
She wanted to give him the feeling that he had some independence, but yet know that he was safe.
Her neighbor learned about the mother’s dilemma and offered to follow the young boy to school in the mornings, staying at a distance, so he probably wouldn’t notice her.
“I’m up early with my toddler anyway; it will be a good way for us to get some exercise as well,” said the neighbor.
The relieved mother agreed.
The next school day, the neighbor and her little girl set out following behind Timmy as he walked to school with another neighbor boy he knew.
She did this for the whole week.
As the boys walked and chatted, kicking stones and twigs, Timmy’s little friend noticed the same lady was following them as she seemed to do every day all week.
Finally, he said to Timmy,
“Have you noticed that lady following us to school all week? Do you know her”?
Timmy nonchalantly replied, “Yeah, I know who she is.”
The friend said, “Well, who is she”?
“That’s just Shirley Goodnest,” Timmy replied.
“And her daughter Marcy.”
“Shirley Goodnest? Who the heck is she and why is she following us”?
“Well,” Timmy explained. “Every night, my mom makes me say the 23rd Psalm with my prayers, because she worries about me so much. And in the Psalm, it says, ‘Shirley Goodnest and Marcy shall follow me all the days of my life,’ so I guess I’ll just have to get used to it!”

Our Story

Mark Twain said, "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." My "A-Ha!" moment came the day I realized how important proper nutrition and exercise is to my emotional, mental, and physical well-being. I was shy, introverted, and nervous. I wanted to feel sweet, funny, and charming. I wanted to feel like I could do anything. Anxiety and low self-esteem robbed me of my daily joy in life. Worry set in like a cancer and I fretted over fears of the future. I lost my zest for life and I lost my passion for living an abundant life. Gradually through learning new and better ways of living, making new connections with the right people who would support and encourage me, and staying away from toxic people and stopping toxic habits, I began to get smarter, better informed and develop better daily habits. With the help of a smart, intelligent and workable program, I slowly rebuilt a life that mattered to me. A life that worked. I realized living in a clean body makes for a clear mind. An active lifestyle contributes to overall happiness.

Motion is lotion. My personally thrives when I take action. I got stronger and smarter and happier. I had found a support system that was dependable and I found my inner strength. I became able to stand in my own strength, trust myself and trust that I could be there to help someone else. I started helping others and found it to be another way to add happiness to my own life. I had to help people who wanted help, though, and avoid trying to help people who were looking for someone to pull down, and I learned how to find people who were looking for a hand up, just like me, seeing positive dependable strong people who could be trusted to help another person find their own purpose and inner motivation. Core Values: Radiate positive change. Love what I do. Practice emotional wisdom. Choose to do right. Shift to better health. Embrace learning new ways. Create better balance in my life. Simplify. And it's my life’s mission to be strong within myself, to walk closely with my spiritual guide, trusting in the Greatness of God and, when possible, assist others to live their best life, too!
