Always remember... There is additional parking in the rear of The Aux. Go to the stop light at the Food For Less gas station and drive south behind food for less. Park in the first opening to the left. Come walk right in.

Do not park in our neighbors driveways or on the streets. Thank you!

Today we shine the spotlight on The Eight Effect, a visionary, Black women-led consultancy and creative studio operated by Tracy Fulce-Gentle, Lionel Gentle, and Esther Wallen.

The Eight Effect is all about aligning vision with action to build more equitable communities. Through leadership development and culturally grounded storytelling, they empower historically underrepresented individuals to step into positions of influence and impact.

Their flagship programs—Board Bootcamp and Studio 8—equip everyday people to lead on boards, commissions, and committees, while also reclaiming the power of narrative through media and storytelling.

Walk with The Aux tomorrow in the Juneteenth parade!

Come walk with us..... and Sokana Collective will be walking in the Juneteenth Parade in Evanston. Join us for a celebration of freedom. We will meet at Robert Crown Community Center in Eva's at 10am and will walk the parade route ending at the Civic Center. This is a family-friendly event. Let us know if you can make it
