We’ve got a full lineup of community vibes and delicious bites happening December 13–14 — perfect for bringing the whole family together.

🍳 Saturday 12/13: Kick off your morning with Holiday Breakfast Pop-Up from 9 AM–12 PM — shrimp & grits, chicken & waffles, flapjacks, and more!
📖 Saturday 12/13: Then head into at 11:30a for an engaging Kwanzaa story time fit for all ages.
🥁 Sunday 12/14: Come back for our Community Drum Circle at 1 PM hosted by — open to all ages, all skill levels, and totally FREE. Drums provided or bring your own!

The joy continues in the following weekends with ! Mark your calendar for:
Saturday 12/20: receive a complimentary spinal health screening at 9a
Saturday 12/27: join us the last Saturday of each month at 9:15a for Momentous Women’s Bible Study

Evanston, get ready! The Aux is the place to be AGAIN this Saturday, December 6th — and we’re filling the day with joy, community, good food, and a little holiday magic!

Bring the whole family to to meet Dreezy Claus, grab a delicious holiday breakfast from , and hop on the Chicagoland Bookstore Holiday Trolley as it rolls through and other local favorites. You can also grab a tag from our giving tree to give a kid a coat for the winter.

🎄❤️ Whether you’re here for photos with Dreezy Claus, warm waffles and shrimp & grits, or a festive neighborhood adventure, The Aux is making the season bright.

Stop by and grab a tag off our giving tree to donate a coat to a child in need. SEPA, a locally run non profit, organizes this event yearly. Ebony Barbershop also has a tree at Church and Dodge. Please leave your name with the folks in The Laundry Cafe in order to keep track of the tags. Purchase a new coat for a child in need. It's COLD outside and the basics are so important!!
