Mark has been doing more of these private dinners - up to 7 courses, wine pairings if requested - and last night's was a great group of six folks and a big success. Spiced walnuts, cheese poofs, corn humus inspired by Aba in Fulton Mkt, cold yellow pepper soup with polka dots, mustard chili roasted beef tenderloin, roasted radishes, sheet pan gnocchi with wild mushrooms and spinach and a honey mustard horseradish sauce, an arugula and fennel salad with parm, and then a stone fruit and cheese selection. They had a cake and we paired it with an awesome dessert wine. Love doing these.
