On September 22, National Centenarian’s Day honors those who have celebrated 100 birthdays or more. The Bronstein Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness is inviting USI students, employees and alumni to share stories of their centenarian loved ones.

Josh is also voice-controlled AI system and the Minka Living Learning Lab's second piece of technology employed to ease the lives of residents.

JOI

JOI is the Minka Living Learning Lab's third piece of artificial-intelligence technology. It can be programmed by care givers to deliver specified music and images designed to aid people living with dementia.

Zero Entry Shower

The zero-entry shower makes it easy for Minka Living Learning Lab residents needing wheelchair or other assistance devices to bathe. The open-shower concept with hand bars for safety provides peace of mind for everyone.

Touchless Sink

Like magic, the touchless sink operates with the wave of a hand, cutting down on germs and enabling Minka Living Learning Lab residents with joint issues more freedom and independence.
