I'm preparing to move. This past weekend a friend hauled my 1977 Jayco camper 150 miles to Lansing. Yesterday I spent the day cleaning it, beginning with this sun shade. What an adorable unit!

I'm trusting that things are unfolding exactly as they should - including my career. Good things show up in my life and I seem to get exactly what I need. The key is caring for myself (physical & mental health), nurturing healthy relationships, and doing what I want to do. I'm a driven person so this often includes work.

I'm feeling it again—that electric pressure of responsibility.
During the last 19 months since closing Avalon Massage Collective, I have:
Driven 14,000 miles across the US
Repatterned unhealthy attachment
Completed my life coaching certification
Played 10+ harp gigs
Spent 2 weeks touring Ireland
Reignited my passion for sailing
Attended 12 festivals

But also, I've battled:
Relationship upheaval
Mental health struggles
Losing my voice for 2 weeks to a respiratory illness
Caring for a loved one after a bad accident

Things are changing at Avalon!

I want to extend a huge "Thank you!" to each of my clients who have supported me as a self-employed business owner over the last 4+ years. It has been an honor to serve each of you.

There are two big factors impacting my services:
I have decided to downsize from the large space I have been renting to just one room. This will help me to focus on providing great service to my clients and open my resources to pursue some other dreams!
My shoulder has been experiencing issues for over two years. What started as a rotator cuff injury has shifted into chronic tension and a pinched nerve. Ouch! It needs an extended break from massage.

The space will be undergoing extensive renovations during the month of July and possibly 1-2 weeks into August. Once everything is ready, I will rent just one room to serve my clients in the same building! Booking will be closed until the reopening date is confirmed.

In the meantime…

I will be taking an extended road trip to Yellowstone and stopping at lots of great spots along the way! Wish me luck and be sure to schedule by June 28th if you’d like to get on the table.
