This is your moment to give your body extra love..

Hydrate — sip warm tea or water to nourish your body.
Journal — notice what thoughts or feelings surfaced during practice.

Most yoga studios focus on movement. At The H.E.A.L. SPACE, movement is just the beginning.

Founded by Monae McConnell, LCSW, Certified Clinical Supervisor, and 200-hour RYT, The H.E.A.L. SPACE was built from both expertise and lived experience. Monae discovered through her own healing journey that talk therapy alone wasn’t enough but when combined with mindful movement, the body and mind could finally release, together.

That’s what makes The H.E.A.L. SPACE different..
Therapy + Mindful Movement – Not just stretching, but healing emotional experiences stored in the body.
Evidence-Based & Holistic – Blending CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness with the grounding practice of yoga.
Personalized Healing – Every session is client-centered, shaped to honor your unique journey.

This isn’t “yoga for fitness.”
This is yoga for healing, resilience, and transformation.

You’re not just attending a class.. you’re entering a safe, nurturing environment designed for your growth and alignment.

Labor Day is a chance to pause and recharge, but tomorrow we jump back in—ready or not! With a shorter work week ahead, practicing mindfulness can set a positive tone and help make the transition smoother.

Tips to Prepare for a Short Work Week
Set an intention for the week—choose a word or goal to guide your focus and energy.

Plan your top priorities for each day; keep your to-do list simple and realistic.

Start your morning with calm: try deep breathing, a gentle stretch, or a mindful walk.

Schedule mindful breaks—step away, breathe, or enjoy your lunch without distractions.

Practice gratitude: reflect on something positive about your time off and something you look forward to.

Take a moment to check in with yourself. What do you need to feel prepared, focused, and balanced this week? Share your favorite mindful routines for kicking off a short work week below!

🌿 Therapy Thursday Journal Prompt 🌿

Journaling creates space to honor your experiences and open yourself to growth. 💛

This week’s prompt:
🖊️ “How can I Honor myself this week? What can I Elevate in my life? Where do I need to allow space for rest or change? And how can I practice Love—for myself or others?”

Take a few moments to reflect, write, and breathe. 🌱

👉 Share in the comments: Which word speaks to you most this week—Honoring, Elevating, Allowance, or Love?

Happy Mindful Monday!!

Lets start the week off on a mindful note.

Take a moment to ground yourself in the present. Pause, take a deep breath, and notice what’s happening around you—maybe the sounds in your space, the feeling of your body, or the rhythm of your breath.

Remind yourself: you don’t have to solve everything all at once. Give yourself permission to take things one day at a time. Whenever worry pops up, gently bring your attention back to right now. You deserve a little ease and self-compassion.

Affirmation:
“I am present, I am patient, and I trust myself to take life one step at a time.”

How do you like to stay present? Drop your tips below!

Take a moment to journal today. Not sure what to write about? Here are a few easy prompts:

- What’s one thing you’re grateful for right now?
- Something from this week that made you smile.
- What’s on your mind that you need to let go of?
- A small goal for the weekend ahead.
- How do you want to feel tomorrow?
- Something you’re proud of—big or small!
- What’s one thing your body or mind needs today?

Journaling isn’t just about putting words on paper—it’s a simple way to clear your head, process feelings, and heal. Getting your thoughts out can help lighten your mood, bring clarity, and even spark a bit of self-compassion.
So, take it slow and jot down whatever floats up. Your mind will thank you!

Happy Monday!! 🌞
Take a moment today to kick things off on a positive note.Try this quick Mindful Monday ritual to get your week rolling with good vibes:

Take a few deep breaths—like, really fill up your lungs.

Sip your morning coffee or tea slow and savor it. Notice how your drink makes your body feel.

Set one intention for your day. Just one! (Even if it’s “be kind to myself.”)

If you’ve got a minute, sit down for a gentle stretch. Maybe a seated twist or just reaching for the sky.

Let’s keep it simple and start Monday with a calm mind and a fresh outlook. You’ve got this! 🌿✨
