💕 February is American Heart Month – A Time to Prioritize Heart Health 💕

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, affecting millions of lives across all ages, genders, and ethnicities. This February, take action to protect your cardiovascular health and the health of those you care about.

Here’s how you can get involved:
• Learn CPR and become a lifesaver. More than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur annually in the U.S., and nine out of every 10 people die without immediate CPR. By learning Hands-Only CPR, you could be the difference between life and death.
• Go red. Wear red on National Wear Red Day (February 6th) to raise awareness for cardiovascular disease and support women’s heart health and support American Heart Association
• Adopt heart-healthy habits. Up to 80% of heart disease is considered preventable. Use this month to focus on eating a heart-healthy diet, increasing physical activity, managing cholesterol and blood pressure, and maintaining a healthy weight.
• Participate in community events. From heart walks to educational talks, look for local events recognizing American Heart Month and invite friends, family, and colleagues to join you.

Take the first step today. Whether it’s learning CPR, scheduling a health checkup, or committing to a new wellness habit, every action counts.

Your heart health matters – and so do you.

"My nurses were excellent. Ravi and the therapy team motivated me to work hard and really showed how much they cared. My time at Exton was wonderful I am happy to be strong enough to go home now and would recommend this facility for anyone who needs rehab like me."

Today, we honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and reflect on his powerful words: "Only in darkness can you see the stars." In the face of adversity, our stars shine brighter.

We stand for unity, equality, and love—because together, we can overcome any darkness and light up the world. Share a photo of a starry night or a moment when you saw the light in the darkness.

Let's celebrate MLK Day by shining our lights together.

A life reimagined and reformed thanks to !

We invite you to read the positive testimonial of Monda Spool, who is now heading home from our center and more , thanks to our progressive approach to subacute rehab.

"I had the best of care here, I started barely able to walk in any way and all of the folks here have shown me how I could do things. All the love and care beyond the therapy is professional, and because of that I can walk with a walker and I love them so."

Thank you, Monda for choosing Exton on your !

There’s nothing more powerful than hearing directly from those we care for.

Meet Mr. Timothy O'Reilly, who recently completed their rehab journey at Exton and had this to say:

“The therapy team at Exton Post Acute was very supportive, pleasant, and helpful. My wife Susan and I were happy with my progress and we're excited to get back home."

Timothy's story is a true reflection of what is all about—supportive, personalized care that makes a real difference.
