This past week, crews trained at Five Rivers MetroParks MoMba mountain bike trails in several different rescue type scenarios. Crews had to use their knowledge, training and teamwork to effectively rescue a downed rider deep in woods. Thank you to Metro Park staff for allowing us to use the property and LT. Fisher for his vast knowledge of the area and organizing this very valuable training! Fairborn Fire Department

Last week, crews had the opportunity to make a site visit/walk through of our local Barrett Paving Materials Inc. plant. We appreciate all the supervisors and safety managers spending the time speaking with us and reviewing hazards and risks our crews might encounter! Fairborn Fire Department

Crews responded to a multi vehicle fire close to a structure early this morning. E3 arrived onscene and made an initial attack using the mounted deck gun with a quick knock down. No injuries and structure was saved. Great work by all and thanks to all our mutual aid companies! IAFF Local F88-Public Enon-Mad River Township Fire and EMS Xenia Township Fire Department
