Family History Center - Fairborn, OH Our Family History Center is committed to assisting and educating the public in their genealogical research.

We offer free classes, free access to paid subscription sites, microfilm/microfiche readers, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Family History Center is staffed by highly qualified volunteers who love genealogy and family history. Many of the staff have specific topics they many be experts in, so there is usually access to someone that can help you in your research.

For those interested in Revolutionary War ancestors read below:
On May 3, Sharon Patrick and Ann Rotolante of the Daniel Cooper Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be at Wright Library to share the application process for this volunteer group, open to women 18 and older who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution.

I am pleased to announce that Janet Parker has been called as the new coordinator for the Fairborn Family Search Center.
We'd like to invite you to come to the center and see what's new such as our new super 8 digitizer and vhs tPee digitizer. Got loads of pictires at your house? Come to the centerr and use our high speed scanner that scans 25 photos at a time back and front.
Our new hours are
Thurs. 10am to 7pm
Fri. 10am to 4pm
Sat. 10am to 2pm

The Family Search Center will be officially closed tomorrow, January 31st but Mike Garambone will still be meeting with his Italian group at the center.
If you are interested in doing some Italian research, please co.e from 10am to 2pm.

The FamilySearch Center is closed for Thanksgiving today and tomorrow but we are open Sat. the 29th from 10am-2pm. Staff members Mike Garambone and Bruce Clawson will be there to help with your research. Mike specializes in Italian research.
