AAP season is upon us as many schools will begin to administer the Cog At this week. We have received several questions regarding how to best prepare your child for this test and our advice is to simply provide them with a good night of sleep and a hearty breakfast. This isn't the type of test where studying is necessary or even beneficial and applying additional pressure can increase anxiety and in some cases, lead to worse results.

We have also started receiving inquiries about purchasing our services to help with your upcoming application. School is back in session and we are in the process of forming new parent groups! Are you looking for strategies to support your child with ADHD both at home and at school? Our groups are led by and utilize the knowledge and experience of both a former school psychologist and a former elementary educator and provide opportunities for parents to network and interact with others experiencing similar situations. Groups meet once a week for 6 weeks, each session lasting an hour and 15 minutes for $225.
