General information

Adult Groups are opportunities for adults to connect and create with one another. The Creative Clover offers a variety of group topics and is always looking to meet the needs of the community. If you have an idea for a group, please let us know! Some of the groups we are include the following: o What’s My Name Again? – A drama and mask making group for mothers’ who would like to connect with one another to celebrate the wonderful spirit of womanhood and the many roles we play. o Can You Hear Me Now?- A group for adults who would like to feel “heard” in personal and professional relationships. Utilizing role-play and improvisation to improve communication skills and form healthier relationships. o Survivor Groups For Victims of Sexual Assault – A group for survivors to share their stories and connect with other adults who have had similar experiences. Child/Teen Groups are powerful tools for children and teens. Of course expressive arts are wonderful with children as they already use dramatic play as a way to make sense of their world. Children typically have little trouble jumping into a story or creating characters for the feelings they are struggling with. The expressive arts are also very effective for teens. Drama and art allows teens the distance and safety they often need to speak about and process their concerns. Below are some of the groups we offer. o Fake It ‘Till You Make It – Life’s not about how you look, it’s about how you act. A group for middle school age girls to promote self-esteem and discovering everyone’s unique talents. We will utilize make-up, masks, and role play to help girls “fake” the confident attitude until it becomes part of them. o Personal Safety and Social Skills – A group for young children and their parents to teach healthy boundaries and social skills to promote safety. o Sharing My Story – A Seminar for teen girls who have been adopted and would like to connect with others who have similar stories. Participants will share their stories through role play, improvisation, and other drama therapy activities.
