See how people are transformed by chickens, greenhouses and the love of Christ
My wife, Donna, and I have gone through a 15 week course with Perspectives on the World Christian Movement and it has made a life changing impact on our lives. It is safe to say that its impact is second only to the Holy Scriptures! Talking about the course after the last lesson, Donna said, “I am just ready to go”! And we are going to Guatemala! I have been on missions outside of the country before, but this is the first time for Donna. Needless to say, she is excited! Perspectives has taught me so much and one of the speakers talked about what they are doing around the world. I was very interested in what they were doing in Guatemala. Perspectives taught us we must help with people’s needs. What better way is there to show the love and gospel of Christ? Terrell Davis with Global Business Solutions Institute talked about helping people raise chickens for eggs so they can feed their family and extra to sell. They are also showing them how to raise vegetables in greenhouses for the same purpose. I thought, that can be done anywhere. Vegetables are being planted and so are churches! The church works alongside the people in training them on their new endeavor and teaching them about good nutrition while loving on them at the same time. This allows the church members to build relationships so they can share Jesus Christ to them. People start seeing there is hope and become excited. They are very encouraged about being able to support their own families and to also make some extra money to send their kids to school. Donna and I are going to Guatemala for a week. The dates are October 7th through 14th. We need $3,200 for the trip and would love to have your blessing in praying for us and also in helping fund our trip.
