Merilee's family and friends are grateful for the support of so many over the past decade in raising awareness and funds to combat the su***de epidemic that is shattering lives. An event has not been planned for this summer, but efforts will be renewed shortly to raise enough additional funds to complete our goal to bring effective programming to area schools to stop bullying and increase mental health among our youth. Watch for details soon.

We are really hoping that the weather cooperates for this great event at Perinton Park tomorrow! It'll be great no matter. In addition to veterans and mental health resources, there will be free food, live music, kids activities, a raffle, and unique shopping. There will be local crafters and vendors set up selling many types of handmade items, jewelry, and woodworkings. There will be two book authors and many popular vendors, such as Young Living Essential Oils, Pampered Chef, Lemongrass, Jamberry, Tupperware, Magnolia and Vine Style, Pink Zebra, Mary Kay, and Origami Owl.

Today is Merilee Chenelly's birthday. This event was created in her memory in 2010, a year after her death, because her family and friends wanted to make something positive out of tragedy. We are eternally grateful to the many who have helped that become a reality! Today we celebrate a life cut horribly short by depression, inadequate mental health care and a stigma keeping those in need from seeking help.
