Gabby's Big Idea

Gabby's Big Idea Gabby lives in Fallbrook, has Mosiac Down Syndrome and has a vision to change the world. She thought "we should do this in Fallbrook!" That idea has grown!

Starting with hosting events for the intellectually disabled community, which will also raise funds for a well project for people in a Third World country.  Gabby had a great idea after being invited to a dance for the disabled community that was held in another town. Dances and other events will also be opportunities to do fundraiser for Resuscitate, an organization that is currently raising money for a well for a village that needs clean water! What is a Well project? 

We are raising money to dig a well in a third world country where they do not have access to clean water.

Some of the problems this creates:
Children can die from disease in dirty water taken from lakes or polluted streams.
In other situations, young girls are often sent to walk many miles to fill a bucket with water from the nearest well and walk back carrying it. This can take many hours every day and can be one reason girls in poverty cannot attend school, even if there is a public school available.

A well can completely change the future of a whole village!!
