This past weekend, the Monarc team decided to get our hands a bit dirty and team up with fellow volunteers from the industry for District of Columbia Building Industry Association - DCBIA Community Improvement Day, dedicated to enhancing Anacostia Park. For over 20 years, Monarc has proudly taken part in this event, and we truly appreciate the positive impact we have on the community.

The Friends Meeting of Washington⛪: This project involved connecting two historic buildings, transforming the site with a new retaining wall and a bioretention pond. We seamlessly integrated renovations, including a stunning curtain wall, advanced fire alarm and sprinkler systems, a modern elevator, and two green roof systems.

This project received the ABC Award of Excellence in 2020 and earned praise from the project owners 🙌 "Perhaps what impressed us the most was the success of the team—doggedly managing to meet the demands of DCRA, ensuring structural integrity and livability, all while bringing Evan’s vision to life with grace and beauty!" 🏗️✨
