It’s taking me longer to bounce back these days — and I’m learning that’s OK.
Recovery, it turns out, is part of aging with intent. It’s not about marathons or makeovers, but about showing up for the hard stuff: the doctor visits, the vaccines, the colonoscopies, the stitches.
Maybe this is what self-care looks like now — taking care, slowly.
