EmpowerHer

EmpowerHer The mission is to end the stigma surrounding pregnant women and mothers with children who struggle with addiction.

We offer a compassionate supportive environment where women can seek recovery, rebuild their lives, and thrive. We offer support groups by intake process and referrals. We continue continuity of care with peer support and case management with access to basic needs and resources. Our big goal is to establish housing in the future that allows women to be housed with their children in a safe environment with childcare on site while they are seeking recovery/treatment services.

🌸 Gratitude to Hope Blooms
Flowers have a way of saying what words sometimes can’t.
Beauty. Renewal. New beginnings.
We are deeply grateful to Hope Blooms, a local nonprofit that repurposes flowers into breathtaking arrangements for people in our community. They donated a stunning bouquet for each of our graduating moms — and the room was transformed.
It wasn’t just décor. It was dignity. It was celebration. It was “you deserve beauty.”
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible board member Casondra, who made this happen. She secured the donation, coordinated the details, and personally picked up the arrangements to ensure everything was perfect.
To Hope Blooms — your generosity added grace and warmth to a night these mothers will never forget.
This is what lifting each other up looks like. 🌸💜

💧 Gratitude to Scheels
When women do the hard work of rebuilding their lives, the details matter.
A fresh start deserves something tangible. Something solid. Something that says, you are worth investing in.
A huge thank you to Scheels for donating high-quality Hydro Jugs for our EmpowerHer graduates. These weren’t just water bottles — they were symbols. Strength you can carry. Daily reminders to stay filled, stay focused, stay moving.
And a very special recognition to our board member Natalie, who not only arranged this generous donation but customized each jug with the EmpowerHer symbol. She turned a gift into something personal. Intentional. Powerful.
To Scheels — thank you for supporting mothers who are rewriting their stories.
Community partnership changes lives. 💜

✨ Holiday Magic, EmpowerHer Style ✨
This week, we had the absolute honor of pouring into the women who trust us with their stories. Every participant received a hand-curated self-care gift—fuzzy socks, bubble bath, face masks, candles, chocolate, and empowering cards—assembled with intention, sealed with handwritten notes, and wrapped in love. Because our moms deserve to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. Period.
We gathered at our incredible church home, shared a cozy pasta dinner (plus donuts because joy), and continued building momentum in our curriculum—officially halfway through all 12 sessions and thriving. 💜
Huge gratitude to Jacy and her beautiful baby Aria, and to Kristina, for bravely stepping in front of the camera and helping us share this moment. These women are the heartbeat of EmpowerHer.
Serving women in recovery isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. And there’s nothing more powerful than watching women feel good, feel safe, and feel supported.
Here’s to sisterhood, softness, strength, and a future full of possibility. ✨

✨ IT’S OFFICIAL! ✨
We have successfully completed our FIRST EmpowerHER cohort… and the impact has been undeniable. The growth. The connection. The momentum. This is exactly why EmpowerHER exists.
So—because success demands expansion—we’re opening registration for our NEXT 12-WEEK COHORT 💜
This is your invitation to commit to yourself. Not casually. Not someday. But intentionally.
EmpowerHER is not your typical program. We go beyond the treatment setting and teach real-life skills that actually stick, including:
• Emotional regulation
• Healthy communication
• Crisis planning
• Budgeting & financial foundations
• Parenting & life skills rooted in recovery
And yes—because support should remove barriers, not create them—we provide:
✔️ Weekly meals & snacks
✔️ Transportation assistance
✔️ On-site childcare
✔️ Mentoring & coaching during and beyond the 12 weeks
But here’s the part you don’t realize you need until you feel it:
✨ Connection.
Real women. Real stories. Real support. No masks. No judgment. Just growth.
📌 Check out the flyer below for cohort dates and details
🌐 Immediate intake is available on our website
➡️ Go to the “About” tab to request the intake form and secure your spot
📲 Message/Call us if you want more details
If you’re ready to build your support system, strengthen your skills, and invest in the woman you’re becoming—this is your sign.
We can’t wait to meet you. We can’t wait to walk with you.
💜 Welcome to EmpowerHER.

💜 Hey Mama, We See You. 💜

Starting over is brave. Doing it while raising kids? That’s heroic.
You don’t have to do it alone.

We’re so excited to introduce EmpowerHer Foundations — a 12-week journey for moms and moms-to-be in recovery.

💡 Each week we’ll dig into real-life topics — like parenting through recovery, setting healthy boundaries, staying calm in hard moments, and finding your voice — then we’ll roll up our sleeves and practice with hands-on skills you can use right away.

👶 We’ve got free childcare covered, so you can focus on you. Because no mother should have to choose between her healing and her children.
✨ We’ve also planned a few special surprises for the kids (we’ll share more at the first meeting!).

This isn’t your typical “sit in a circle and talk” group.
Foundations is about building — stronger families, stronger futures, and a community of moms who have each other’s backs.

📩 Want in?
Referral and intake forms are ready — just email us at empowerherfm@gmail.com or call/text 701-566-9598.

⭐ We ask for a full 12-week commitment, because the change you’re looking for starts when you show up for yourself — and for the other women walking beside you.

Let’s build something unshakable.
Let’s rise together.

🚨✨ BIG NEWS! ✨🚨
We’re absolutely thrilled (and a little emotional) to share that EmpowerHer’s story has been FEATURED in Fargo INC. Magazine! August Edition 📰💜

This beautifully written piece tells the full story of how EmpowerHer came to be — from two moms who first met at Jeremiah Program, to unlikely friends whose shared passions and lived experiences sparked a mission bigger than either of us could have imagined.
This isn't just a shiny success story.

Tara and I were never supposed to end up here together.
She’s grounded, steady, the one with her feet planted firmly on the earth that keeps us on track.
I’m the extroverted, loud, talkative visionary with my head full of impossible ideas.
On paper, we don’t fit.
But sometimes the most unlikely partnerships are the ones that change everything.

We’re so honored to have our journey told in such a powerful way. If you’ve ever wondered how EmpowerHer was born, this article is the heart of it all.

Thank you, Fargo INC., for capturing not just what we do, but why we do it. And thank you to every supporter who believes in this mission with us — this feature is as much yours as it is ours. 💜
Here’s to the power of unlikely friendships, second chances, and the unshakable belief that no mother should have to fight alone.

When Tara and Tory first arrived at the Jeremiah Program, Fargo-Moorhead, they were single moms just trying to survive. What they found was more than housing and daycare—it was empowerment, belonging, and a chance to rewrite their stories.
