“Wondering if it’s more than just the winter blues? Here are some signs of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD):

• Low Energy: Feeling drained and sluggish.
• Sleep Changes: Oversleeping or struggling to get out of bed.
• Mood Shifts: Persistent sadness, irritability, or feeling ‘off.’
• Loss of Interest: Things you love don’t feel the same.
• Changes in Appetite: Especially craving carbs or comfort foods.

Remember, SAD is common and treatable. Don’t hesitate to reach out! 💙

My Team Luncheon minus 2! I have the privilege of leading this team and it’s a pleasure because they are all incredible women who have so much to offer!

Today we said farewell to our amazing Wayne state university school of social work graduate interns! They worked hard the past 9 months and I am forever grateful for each of their unique perspectives, experiences and gifts that they have offered to next time you gotta come out with us

They will be awesome social workers and be change agents in this world!
