Nov 2020: Started selling used equipment out of our garage
Mar 2021: Covid shut down the world
June 2021: Biz exploded bc everyone wanted a home gym
July 2022: Lynsey started us a business page & we started selling new equip
June 2023: Bought our first house with a bigger garage to sell more gym equipment 🥳
Dec 2023: Our neighbor reported us to the city for selling gym equip out of our house 🤯
Jan 2024: We were told we had to remove ALL gym equipment from the premises within 14 days ☠️
Feb 2024: Tried to figure out how we were going to sell off 50,000lbs in 2 weeks and shut the biz down
Mar 2024: Decided we were turning the worst thing that happened to us into the BEST thing🕺
April 2024: Moved 50k lbs into a storage unit and met customers there to get the city off our backs 😅
Aug 2024: Found a commercial storefront to rent
Sept 2024: Sold our house next to nosy neighbor and invested big $$$ in the business 😎
Jan 2025: Went to a biz workshop put on by our idol and were told we DIDN'T have a REAL business 😭
March 2025: Took the feedback and 3x'ed revenue and both left our jobs to work the business full time
June 2025: Went back to biz workshop. Still don't have REAL business but got a plan to get there 🫡

My point is… the setbacks weren’t the end, they were the turning points.
The bigger the obstacle, the better the plot twist.
The worst day in your story might be the exact thing that sets the rest of it in motion.
And the best part? We’re just getting started.
