Make your pregnancy pain a little easier to live with!Steps:
1. Find your roll of RockTape. We need to make 4 strips of tape for the âfront slingâ and âbaby beltâ RockTape techniques.
2. Start by measuring the tape to momâs stomach. The shorter 2 strips should be as long as 2 inches above the public bone to anywhere in the space between the bra and the belly button. Cut the length of these two pieces. These 2 shorter strips will be for the âfront slingâ technique.
3. Then measure 2 strips for the âbaby beltâ. Start above the hip, moving under the stomach, then arching up to meet the scapula (shoulder blade). Cut the length of these 2 longer strips and move to step 5.
4. Proceed to round the corners of the tape. Do this will all 4 strips. (This helps the edges not catch on clothes and reduce irritation)
6. Place the two shorter pieces starting 2 inches above the public bone then arching up the belly, spaced away from the belly button. This is the âfront slingâ.
7. Take the two longer pieces, and apply them as described in step 3. Start above the hip, moving under the belly, angling up to meet the scapula (apply tape beneath bra if necessary).
8. Rub tape vigorously, once applied to skin, to activate adhesive.
This taping technique provides a little extra support and lift as you go about your day.
Your tape should stay for 3-5 days. The best time to remove the tape is in the shower. Remember to remove slowly.
If you find that your tape is in good shape but an edge has lost its adheisive, then trip the edge and lay the tape back down.
