Happy 130th Birthday to Dr. Ida Rolf!

She was a biochemist, a teacher, a bodywork professional, a pioneer in fascia research, a mother, and the founder of Structural Integration.

Dr. Ida Rolf dedicated her life to understanding the body, fascia, and how alignment impacts the way we move and feel every day. Her groundbreaking work continues to help people around the world find relief from pain, improve mobility, and reconnect with their bodies.

Because of her vision, Structural Integration continues to change lives. We’re honored to carry that work forward through education and care.
Thank you, Dr. Rolf, for the lasting impact of your life’s work.

Back pain doesn’t have to be permanent. Give Structural Integration a try. 💪

Structural Integration works to align the fascia of your body to provide pain relief. It can also be used to correct posture, improve range of motion, and bring overall alignment to your body.

According to the University of Washington’s Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Department, back pain is one of the most common health problems in the United States, and 50%-80% of adults have had back pain! That is MOST of us here!

Whether you just tweaked your back or have been dealing with back pain for a while, we know how to provide long-lasting pain relief—even after surgery.

Try us out! Comment “back pain” below and we’ll send you the link to book with one of our excellent practitioners!

Make your pregnancy pain a little easier to live with!

Steps:
1. Find your roll of RockTape. We need to make 4 strips of tape for the “front sling” and “baby belt” RockTape techniques.
2. Start by measuring the tape to mom’s stomach. The shorter 2 strips should be as long as 2 inches above the public bone to anywhere in the space between the bra and the belly button. Cut the length of these two pieces. These 2 shorter strips will be for the “front sling” technique.
3. Then measure 2 strips for the “baby belt”. Start above the hip, moving under the stomach, then arching up to meet the scapula (shoulder blade). Cut the length of these 2 longer strips and move to step 5.
4. Proceed to round the corners of the tape. Do this will all 4 strips. (This helps the edges not catch on clothes and reduce irritation)
6. Place the two shorter pieces starting 2 inches above the public bone then arching up the belly, spaced away from the belly button. This is the “front sling”.
7. Take the two longer pieces, and apply them as described in step 3. Start above the hip, moving under the belly, angling up to meet the scapula (apply tape beneath bra if necessary).
8. Rub tape vigorously, once applied to skin, to activate adhesive.

This taping technique provides a little extra support and lift as you go about your day.
Your tape should stay for 3-5 days. The best time to remove the tape is in the shower. Remember to remove slowly.
If you find that your tape is in good shape but an edge has lost its adheisive, then trip the edge and lay the tape back down.

Have questions about this technique or about other taping techniques that could help support you in your pain relief journey? Comment “pain free” below and we’ll send you the link to meet with one of our practitioners!

Infant reflux can be stressful—for both babies and parents. 💛
Reflux in infants is often linked to fascial restrictions around the esophagus, which may contribute to:
 • Frequent spit-up after feedings
 • Gagging or discomfort
 • Back arching
 • Projectile vomiting

✨ How can you help?
Meet Nancy, our infant specialist! Nancy uses Structural Integration, a manual therapy technique that focuses on releasing fascial restrictions in the body.
By easing tension in the fascia, the esophagus can move and function more freely—helping your baby feel more comfortable and at ease.

What is fascia, anyway?
Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs, and nearly everything in the body. It helps reduce friction, provides stability, and connects the body from head to toe.
