Most centers also offer an array of services and programs to varying populations, including Alzheimer’s and memory care, as well as speech, occupational, and physical therapy specialists. Not only do residents receive the highest quality of care, but the centers also keep residents social and engaged through activity programs and offer delicious and healthy meals for residents to enjoy. Thousands of people are cared for by our team across dozens of towns and cities in Southern New England each year. Athena operates 28 skilled nursing facilities as well as four hospice agencies and a private duty program.

In honor of National Social Workers Month, we had a luncheon celebrating our Massachusetts social workers.

Their work touches so many lives, offering comfort, support, and guidance when it matters most. Today was about recognizing them and encouraging them to take a moment for themselves, too. As a small token of appreciation, we gave each social worker their own relaxation device.

We are so thankful for this group and to Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center for hosting this wonderful luncheon!
