You can do anything if you find your own pace.
Because I’m 50, weigh 245 lbs, have a bad knee and hips people doubted I could hike 2.2km up earthen stairs in high altitude to watch a beautiful sunrise.
For some people are it may not have been worth it but not believing in me doesn't mean I can't do something. Just because I can't do it at your place doesn't mean I can't do it.

In the same view we can see that it’s not a clear day looking out for miles or we can find beauty.
But, finding the beauty isn’t as important as making a choice. Either perspective may be the right path-as long as you a choosing not defaulting.

FIND YOUR WAY

The “Path to Yes” program began in self reflection many years ago. As it came together a graduate school professor in the University of Boston Critical and Creative Thinking Program lead me to the name. Since then I’ve struggled with a simple explanation or subtitle to convey the essence of Path to Yes. As things do, the obvious came to me without warning:
The Path to Yes: Finding your way.

Original plan: take a drive on Skyline Drive.
But, the Rockfish Gap entrance was closed. Snow is gone but fallen trees are not.
So, we stopped in in nearby Waynesburo and discovered Happ Coffee Roasters. WIN!

My name is April and I’m a travel addict.
There’s been a “No Monster” in my way for years! Last year I found my path to yes for this one:
Travel training. Focusing on being Fit for Travel. Current motivation? CLIMB Indian Nose Mountain in Guatemala.

Backstory:
Injuries and medical challenges haven’t stopped me from traveling but they squash the joy.
I’m not an exercise person and generic goals like loose weight, walk 10,000 steps yada blah blah don’t motivate me.
What do I really want?
To slay the no monster whispering “you can’t do that” stifling me when the zip line looks like so much fun or my suitcase feels heavy.
My solution? Travel training!
I want to be fit to travel so I pick something the No Monster whispers I can’t do and make a plan- then I slay it!
I’m headed to in 2 weeks with Meaningful Travel With Melanie and can’t wait to see the sun rise over lake Attain.
