My custom knives are created 100 percent by hand and a lot of thought, care, dedication and time go into putting out a beautiful piece of art. You can order knives that are mass produced and they may be ok, but to have a custom built knife is a whole new level. A Tatanka built knife is annealed, heat treated, tempered and all knives are designed by me, a one of a kind piece of art, every knife is unique in it's own way. Excellence and quality is the standard I strive for every knife . Knife makers are artist, we take materials and create pieces of art that is pleasing to the eye, can be touched, and used. So with every knife, it should look good and feel great in the hand. It has to be fuctional to where the user will feel comfortable, confident and trust its performance.
